Affordable, open source pinch valve
Section titled “Affordable, open source pinch valve”In 2023 a Harvey Mudd College clinic team (the Valve Team), working with AMYBO, designed a 3D printed open source pinch valve housing that can be made using readily available & affordable standard solenoid valves.
The next step was to optimise the pinch valve for use with the 1/16” ID flexible silicone tubing provided with Pioreactors.
